Marge Casey + associates. Diana Koenigsberg.
Diana Koenigsberg was born and raised in Los Angeles, California by a single mother turned dynamic businesswoman. Informed by this upbringing, her work projects an empowered feminine perspective that is independent and unapologetically confident. Utilizing vibrant colors, geometric shapes and carefully choreographed gestures, she photographs her subjects in scenarios that are simultaneously elegant, highly stylized, ironic, humorous and poignant. Diana studied photography at the San Francisco Art Institute, and then received her BA in Photography at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. In May of 2006 ?Communication Arts Magazine?, published a feature article on Diana?s work. The article was an in-depth look at her approach to making images, using color, humor, and irony. She has been honored on multiple occasions by ?Communication Arts Magazine ? as well as by Photo District News. Magazine.Diana takes inspiration from life, dance, fashion, foreign languages, films and music, and finds humor and beauty in all its forms. Diana lives outside Los Angeles, with her husband William and her 2-year old daughter Vivienne.CLIENT LISTButler Shine and Stern, Campbell Ewald, Douglas Joseph Partners, DGWB, Draft FCB, Goodby Silverstein & Partners, Fallon McElligot Minneapolis, Fallon McElligot New York, Hamon and Associates, Knock Inc., Marc USA, McCann Erickson, RTC Relationship Marketing, StrawberryFrog , Warner Brothers Records, Anchor Blue Denim, Discover Card, Farmer's Insurance, Fort Lauderdale Visitor's Bureau, Lee Jeans, Lifesavers, Los Angeles Magazine, Mastercard, More Magazine, MTV, Sam?s Club, Logitech, Novo Nordisk, Target, Bride's, Details, Dwell, Entertainment Weekly, Fast Company, Gentleman's Quarterly, Los Angeles Magazine, Men's Health, Rolling Stone, Smart Money, US News & World Report, W Magazine, Wallpaper Magazine.

Care of Ward 81: Photographs and text by Bill Diodato. Foreword by Mary Ellen Mark.
Golden Section Publishing, 2010. 64 pp., 46 color and black & white illustrations., 106.
This is Bill's first monograph. Care of Ward 81 is the first of two books on the subject. Located at the Oregon State Mental Hospital (the hospital where One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest was filmed in 1976), Ward 81 was set up as a psychiatric ward to help women in need by providing them with medical attention and isolation.
From the Introduction by Bill Diodato:
"Entering Ward 81, I found each room vibrated with pastel colors, some walls even adorned with curiously upbeat art from the patients. All this beauty was contrasted with a dense chalky air, earthy odor and constant crackling of debris beneath my feet...In the end, I can't say where exactly the many sleepless nights I spent pondering what happened to the women of Ward 81 have taken me. I simply do not know. If, by chance, it helps even just one woman and her family, I rest my head with a renewed sense of hope."- Bill Diodato
